Rougina Y. Ghiz
1922-2018
Peacefully at Beach Grove Nursing Home, the passing of
Rougina Ghiz( El Ein ) on Feb. 28th, age 96 years. Born in Kfeir,
Lebanon on Feb. 24th 1922, Rougina emigrated to Canada after her
husband Hana passed away in 1981. Wife of the late Hana El Ein of
Damascus, Syria. Daughter of Yousseff and Saada Ghiz, Sister of George
Ghiz (Hanna), Nadia Lawen ( Azar), Atallah Ghiz (Marguerite) Mary Dow(
Jameal) , Louina Saad (Yousseff ) George Tanel (Beder). Adored by
numerous nieces and nephews: Rosemary, Catherine, Michael, Elizabeth,
John Ghiz and families. Faida, Fadi, Fouad, Nazmi, Rashed and
families. Joe and Louise ( deceased) , Roger, Barbara, Peter Ghiz and
families. Albert (deceased ) George , Georgette , Frank (deceased) Dow
and families. Georgette(deceased), Yousseff( deceased), George
(deceased), Ramis, Janette, Riad Saad and families. Assad(deceased),
Almaz, Mary, Josephine, Genevieve, Nami Tanel and
families.

Home.
No visitation by personal request.
Funeral Service to be held at St Peters Cathedral,
Charlottetown on Saturday, March 3rd at 11.00 am.
Reception in the church hall following the
service.
Interment after the reception at St. Peter’s Anglican
Cemetery on St. Peter’s Rd.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to St Peters
Cathedral or Ss. Peter & Paul Antiochian Orthodox
Church.
