Rosemarie Jabalee

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Rosemarie Jabalee, age 83, beloved sister and aunt, on Wednesday December 19, 2018 at the Northside Community Guest Home.
Born in North Sydney, May 10, 1935, Rosemarie was the daughter of the late Richard and Edna (Kasouf) Jabalee. For many years after her mothers passing Rosemarie remained at home to care for her father. She enjoyed travelling to visit family in Ottawa and Montreal, spending winter months in California and Florida and travelling to Lebanon to visit her ancestral homeland.
In younger years she was a member of the Seaview Curling Club, she enjoyed gardening and watching her collection of old movies. Rosemarie was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Church.
Rosemarie is survived by her brothers Harold (Edna) Jabalee and Joseph Jabalee both of North Sydney, her niece Helen Jabalee, nephews Greg Jabalee and Eric Beven, grandniece and Godchild Erica , grandnephew Patrick, Great grandniece Alyssa, great grandnephews Logan and Cole.
Besides her parents Rosemarie was predeceased by her brother George Jabalee.
By request there will be no visitation. A memorial mass will be held at a later date with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Northside Community Guest Home. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant Street, North Sydney.
