Carr, Rose (nee West)
A resident of Chatham, Rose Carr peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Wednesday, October 3rd, 2018 in her 84th year.
Rose was the daughter of the late George & Jessie (nee Moulton) West.
Lovingly remembered by her husband, Wayne.
Beloved mother of Eric & Nikki Carr and Don & Janine Carr, both of Chatham.
Grandmother of Jason (Kristen Banfield) Carr, Jamie (Shawna) Carr, Kayne (Leslie) Carr, Caitlin (Steve) Cameron & Whitney (Adam) Deary.
Great-grandmother of Erica, Jarrod, Brayden, Ella, Sophia, Zachary & Kaydence.
Predeceased by her siblings, Queenie, Mabel, Mary, George & Rennie.
Remembered always by her special niece, Judy Davidson.
After retirement, Rose spent a lot of time working with various craft shows and was incredibly gifted in the art of ceramics and sewing. She loved to dance, and spent many years traveling to Florida with Wayne.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Dr. Zeke Milkovic & the 4th floor staff of the CKHA. especially Jackie & Karen, for their exceptional care and compassion with Rose & the family.
Family to receive friends on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham from 12:00 pm until a Memorial Service for Rose at 2:00 pm. Rev. David Tatsu as officiant. Cremation has taken place with a Private Family Interment in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Rose may be made to a charity of ones choice.
