Rose « Rosie » M. Muise
1940-2018
It is with deep sadness that we announce
the passing of Rose « Rosie » Mary
Muise, age 77, of Amherst. Rosie passed away
peacefully, with family by her side on March 15, 2018 at Gables Lodge
after a lengthy illness.
Born in New Waterford, NS, she was a
daughter of the late Raymond and Louise (White) Hebert.
Rosie loved playing games, especially
Cards and Marbles. She enjoyed music, always enjoying Elvis
Presley. Above all was her family, her children,
grandchildren and great grandchildren. Like her heart, her
house was always open to anyone in need, be it food, or just
comfort.
She will be dearly missed by her
children Christopher (Margaret) Hebert, Amherst, Charlene
(Roy) Wilson, River Hebert, Joseph Briand, Winnipeg, and
Andrew Briand, Kelowna, BC; grandchildren, Crystal, Anne, Stephanie,
Maxine, Mark, Jessica-Rose; 9 great grandchildren; sisters Julia
McKay, Amherst and Diana (Ivan) Gale, Amherst; daughter-in-law Kim
MacKenzie, Amherst; special family friends, Nicole Daigle-Folkins, New
Brunswick, Joanna Hennessey and Abby Hennessey, both of Miramichi, NB,
Andrea Young, Moncton, NB, and Linda (Eric) Moore, Maccan; several
nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brother Joseph
« Jr. » Hebert.
Arrangements are under the care and
direction of Furlong-Jones Funeral Home,
70 Church St., Amherst, NS (902-667-8777), where visiting hours will
take place on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A Funeral
Liturgy of the Word will be offered by Father Craig Christenson on
Monday, March 19, 2018 at 11 am. Burial will take place in
the St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery at a later date.
Should friends desire, memorial
donations in memory of Rosie may be made to the Amherst Food Bank or
the charity of your choice.
