It’s with a very heavy heart that we announce Rosaire Parent has lost his battle with cancer. The loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away on October 31, 2018 at the age of 43, surrounded by his loving family. Devoted husband to Rebecca of 24 years. Loving father to Tiara, Tirene and Tatum. Passionate Papa to Taiya. Beloved brother to Rosalie Speal (Dan) and Renee Hanifan (Dave). Brother-in-law to Jeffrey, Robert and Richard Aseltine, Jennifer Aseltine (Mike Hill). Caring son-in-law to Emily McKenna. Grandson-in-law to Florence McKenna. He joins his late parents Rosaire & Genevieve Parent. Rosaire was a fighter, he fought with everything he had and when he couldn’t fight, his wife fought for him. He loved life. He was an avid sports fan and a loyal fan of the Detroit Red Wings. Special thanks to Dr. Bergeron and staff at Hospice of Windsor, as well as Karen, Chantelle and Lisa for their dedication and outstanding care. Rosaire is gone but will never be forgotten. If you so desire, donations to a Trust Fund for Taiya Parent (cheques made payable to Rebecca Parent) would be appreciated by the family. Visiting on Sunday November 4th, 2018 from 3-5pm & 7-9pm at Families First 1065 Lauzon Rd., East Windsor, 519-969-5841.
