WILSON, RONALD (BUD) WAYNE
June 11, 1937 – April 22, 2018
Ron passed away peacefully at home on Sunday evening, April 22, 2018 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Dorothy.Loving father of Bruce, Linda, and Karen Handley (Leonard). Cherished grandfather of Jeffrey (Parker), Jaclyn (Paul), Emily, Sarah and Savannah. Dear brother of Darlene, Gwen, Clifford and Stephen.
He will be remembered for being a very caring and compassionate person.
After graduating from Ryerson University, Ron started his career working at the National Research Council in Ottawa followed by many years of employment at Queen’s University in the Metallurgical Department. Ron’s career path led him to several years of teaching Electronics Engineering at St. Lawrence College.
Visitation at GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME, 435 Davis Drive (Centennial Drive and Taylor-Kidd Blvd) on Wednesday, April 25th from 6-8 pm. Funeral Service in Our Chapel on Thursday, Arpril 26th at 2:00 pm.
