Ronald Sherman « Ron » Gillett

It is with profound sadness that the family of Ronald Sherman « Ron » Gillett of Cold Lake announces his sudden passing on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at the age of 87 years.
Ron will be forever remembered and loved by his wife of 64 years and seven month: Ruth Gillett of Cold Lake, AB; four children: Heather (Liviu) Popovici of Burnaby, BC, Brian (Phyllis) Gillette of Cold Lake, AB, David Gillette of South Korea, Carolyn (Allan) Gerry of Edmonton, AB; seven grandchildren: Jenny, Jonathan, Michael, Jessica-Lynn, Chantelle, Wesley & Riley; six great grandchildren: Brook-lynn, Karrissa, Gabriel, Melikhi, Brodie & Jaiden; sister: Alberta Thompson of Medicine Hat, AB; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Ron was predeceased by his parents: Earl & Corabell Gillett; brother: Earl; sister: Grace.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Ron’s life will be held at a later date.
Memorial tributes in memory of Ron may be sent to the Cold Lake Hospital Long Term Care, 314-25 St., Cold Lake, AB T9M 1G6.
