Ronald « Ron » Van Riel
With his family by his side at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Saturday, July 28, 2018. Ronald ‘Ron’ Van Riel of Moose Creek; age 55 years. Beloved husband of Manon Van Riel (née Ouimet). Loving father of Nicolaas, Melanie (Tyler Michaud) and Karine. Dear brother of Bill (Brenda), Maria Bray (late Marcel), Corrie Labelle (late Claude), John (Betty), Adrian (Suzanne), Tony (Faith), Sue Brunette and Gerry (Theresa). Dear son of Antoinette van den Berk and the late Tonie Van Riel. Ron will be greatly missed by his many family and friends, as well as business partner Courtney Wheeler of CMG Innovation. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. South, Maxville (613-527-2898). Following Ron’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, Moose Creek on Thursday August 2, 2018 at 11 am. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Brain Canada Foundation, email: donation@braincanada.ca would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Ron a tree will be planted in a memory woods.
