McKENNA, Ronald Maurice
July 25, 1934 – June 4, 2018
On June 4, 2018, Ronald Maurice passed away peacefully with family by his side. He was a loyal, dedicated, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Ron was a native Calgarian. He was a brilliant artist who painted beautiful pictures and worked as a graphic artist for over fifty years. He was an avid skater since he was four years of age and a referee for fourteen years. Ronald was full of life and lived it to the fullest. He will be sorely missed by many. Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years Shirley, his children Michelle and Michael all of Calgary, his brother Bob McKenna also of Calgary, sister Cindy McFadden of Lethbridge, grandson Jeffery, and great grandsons Hayes and Houston, as well as numerous relatives. A Memorial Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Monday, June 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Tom Baker Cancer Center of Calgary, ww.albertahealthservices.ca/give/give.aspx.
