Roger Prosper Gallant

Roger Prosper Gallant of Halifax Nova Scotia died peacefully on Tuesday July 18, 2018 with his loved ones by his side after his short fight with cancer.
He was born in Atholville New Brunswick on October 5, 1949 to Prosper and Antoinette. He was the youngest of 12 children.
He was a hard worker, and after 35 years working at CN/VIA Rail as a heavy duty mechanic, he enjoyed a working retirement at the Eastern Passage Autoport.
Roger was a handyman, and could always be found working on a project or fixing something. He was a man that could be counted on to be there for his family with anything they needed. He was a kind soul that will be missed dearly.
He is survived by his wife Denise; his eldest daughter Sonia and granddaughter Angelina; his younger daughter Nadia, her husband Randy and grandsons Gabriel and Emmanuel.
In accordance with Roger’s wishes, he will be buried with his mother and father in his home town. A service will be held on October 5th, 2018 in Atholville New Brunswick.
