Robert “Mark” Chinnick
Mark passed away peacefully, with family by his side, on Monday, July 9, 2018.
Beloved husband of 25 years to Heather. Adored dad of Trevor. Loved brother of Karen, James (Eleanor), Elizabeth (Chris), Ruth and Andrew (Wendy). Predeceased by his parents Bob and Catherine Chinnick. Dear son-in-law of Jeannine Wilson and James Honsberger. He will be missed by his extended family including cousins, nieces, nephews, and especially by his cousin and friend Catherine (Ed), and many more friends. Mark is also fondly remembered by his colleagues at Rogers Communications and, Pitney Bowes.
Mark’s penchant for living each and every moment of life was infectious to those around him. His sense of adventure knew no bounds in his cottage days at Lake Skootamatta, while his amazing passion for life found the perfect home on the race track where he and his son, Trevor, together became the championship winning team.
An admirer of the cerebral as well as the practical, Mark was as comfortable in endeavors of photography as he was in fixing machines. His fix-it-all attitude allowed for he and his wife, Heather, to create their own small slice of paradise in their home of the last 22 years.
Visitation & Celebration of Life will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street North Bowmanville, date & time will be published once confirmed. Memorial donations may be made to Lakeridge Health Foundation “Cancer Centre”.
