Robert Plume
1939-2018
Robert Clayton Plume, 78, of Salisbury and
formerly of Havelock, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on April 9,
2018 after a long battle with lung disease.
He was born on September 8, 1939 in Kinnear
Settlement to the late Arthur and Violet (Leaman)
Plume.
Robert returned to Havelock from Mississauga, ON
to look after his aging father in 1978. He worked at Samuel Steel
Company, Fawcetts and Woodmans Welding. Robert was an avid
hunter, fisherman, mechanic and really enjoyed playing cards and
washers. He loved his family, music and his « taxi »
service.
He is survived and sadly missed by his loving wife
of 59 years Thelma (Smith); cherished family Donna Halliday (Dennis)
of River Glade, Danny (Jackie) of River Glade, son-in-law Kevin
Bannister (Sharon), grandchildren Kristal (Shawn), Amy, Stephanie,
Patrick (Amanda), Matthew (Kyra), great grandchildren Isaiah, Maegen,
Owen, Morgen, Kayla, Samantha, Tegan, Sadie, Olivia and Emmett and
several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his loving
daughter Debbie, grandsons Michael and baby Dennis, brothers Russell
(Hilda) and Roy (Gloria).
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106
(372-4800) visiting is Thursday, April 12 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm
and from where the funeral will be held from the chapel Friday, April
13 at 2 pm with Pastor Dennis Smith officiating. Interment
to follow at The Glades Cemetery.

Association would be appreciated by the family.
