It is with great sadness that the family of the late Robert Hynes announce his sudden passing at his residence in Port au Port on November 5th, 2018 at the age of seventy years. Robert was born on March 10, 1948 in Port au Port West. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his three daughters: Carol ( Charlie) Duhart, Lorie (Lorne) Hynes, Leona Hillier , step- brothers John (Carolyn) Lafitte, Martin Lafitte, grandchildren: Joshua Hynes, Sheryl (Bobby) Duhart, Cassandra (Mary) Duhart, Christy (Devon) Benoit, Chelsea Duhart, Brittany (Vaughn) Burt, Christopher Mooney, Amber-Lee (Jordan) Parrot, Chelsey Hillier, Teagan Hillier, great grandchildren: Cameron Gaudet, William Penney, Paisley Benoit, Alexis Hillier and a large circle of family and friends. He is predeceased by his father Charles Doucette, mother Christina Doucette, parents John Rueben and Caroline Hynes. Visitation will take place on Friday, November 9th at Marina Regina Parish, Port au Port East from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, November 10th at 10 am with interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Port au Port East.
