MILLER, Robert Gerald “Bob”, age 72 years-Lower Sackville. It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our loving, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, with loved ones by his side. Robert passed away peacefully at home on July 3, 2018. Born in Halifax he was a son of the late Gerald & Rita (Delaney) Miller. Bob worked at Saulnier Pumping and Bean Concrete for many years, later he worked with Dexter Construction from where he retired. His passion was country music and participating in benefit shows across the province. He enjoyed going to matiness to hear all his favorite local talent. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years the former Deborah Bungay, daughters Roxanne (Roger), Penny (Kevin), Anna, Bobbie Lee Furlott, sons, Daniel (Kristen), Michael (Shannon), 18 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, brothers Jerry, Lloyd (Debbie), Tommy (Dena), Kenny (Winnie), sisters Debbie (Doug), Patsy (Victor), Dawn (Keith). Besides his parents he was predeceased by sisters, Gail, Barbara and Beverly. Special thanks to Barb Stewart and Brenda MacIssac, also to the Q.E. II Palliative Care Unit and Home Care Teams. In lieu of flowers donations may be made TO THE Canadian Cancer Society. A service is being planned and will be posted when finalized.
