Robert « Bob » Chowen
1924-2018
Peacefully, in his
sleep, on February 1, 2018, Robert « Bob » Chowen
passed away in his 94th
year.
Bob was predeceased by
his wife Shirley (nee Thomas) in 2004.
He is survived by his
children Dennis (Roxie), Mel, Wayne and Brenda. He will be
missed by his grandchildren Scott, Tammy, Eric, Tracey, Cassie, Shane,
and Chelsea and his many great-grandchildren. Bob also
leaves behind his brother Bud (the late Irene), his son in law Earl
Remington, and a large extended family.
He was predeceased by
his children Bobby (1971), Bonnie (1985) and Linda
(2017).
His family wishes to extend a
heartfelt thank you to his longtime caregiver, Karen
Edwards.
Friends and family will
be received at the EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block East
of Egerton), on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, from 11-1pm. The
Celebration of Bob’s life will follow in the Evans
Chapel. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial
Gardens.
Those who wish to make
a memorial donation in Bob’s name are asked to consider the

A tree will be planted by the staff of the Evans Funeral Home as a
living memorial to Bob Chowen.
