Beloved Rita
Theresa Stanich (nee Deighan) age 91, passed away peacefully into the
arms of Jesus at the Dr. John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge, Eldon, PE,
Saturday, November 3, 2018.
Born in
Summerside, PE, Rita was the daughter of the late Ernest and Mary
(Johnson) Deighan. Treasured wife of the late Paul Stanich, Rita is
survived by her loving daughter, Sheila Smith; sisters Ethel (Austin)
Pendergast, Sr. Mary Deighan; brothers, Greg (Pauline) Deighan and
Frank (Carol) Deighan; sister and brother in-laws, Mary Chelick, Steve
Stanich, Barbara Stanich, Bob and Leila Stanich; nieces and nephews
and many friends. Predeceased by her parents and fifteen brothers and
sisters. Rita will be greatly missed by all who came to know and love
her. She had a sparkle in her eye and a contagious joy that will never
be forgotten.
A memorial to take place at
Emerald Community Centre, Sunday, November 11 at 4 pm. Donations in
Rita’s memory to the charity of personal
choice.
