Rita (MacLellan) Borden
1948-2018
Peacefully, at the Prince County Hospital Summerside on
Monday April 2, 2018 of Rita (MacLellan) Borden of Indian River aged
69 years. Born in Indian River May
24, 1948 daughter of the late Bernard and Patricia
(MacNeill) MacLellan. She is survived by
her sons Errol (Coryann) Ottawa, Eric
(Milena) Toronto and John of Vancouver B.C. and the
joy of her life grandchildren Emily, Oliva, Errol Jr., Ben, Jesse and
Mia as well as many nieces and nephews.
Also survived by brothers and sisters Leonard (Joyce)
MacLellan, Mary (Sonny) White, Theresa MacLellan (Everett Cornish) and
James (Myrtle) MacLellan and sister in law June MacLellan
(Orrin Baird) all of Indian
River PEI. Predeceased by her husband Bernie,
brother John and infant grandson Angelo Bernard.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for
visitation on Wednesday, April 4 from 5-8
p.m. Funeral mass Thursday at St.
Mary’s Holy Family Church,
Kensington at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in St.
Mary’s Cemetery, Indian River. If so
desired contributions may be made to Friends of St. Mary’s
(for continued restoration of St. Mary’s Church, Indian River), St.
Mary’s Cemetery, Indian River or the Prince County Hospital
Foundation.
