Rita Dorion
Dorion, Rita (nee Chretien) passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Georgian Bay General Hospital on Friday June 22nd, 2018 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Alfred Dorion Jr. Loving mother of Michael (Loretta), Basile (Myriam), Theresa Duquette (Dave Desroches) and Paul (Kathy). Cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Sister of Rose Melanese, Irene Lacroix, Jeanne Dorion and predeceased by Prosper Chretien and Helene Chretien. Daughter of the late Alcime « Mike and Philomene. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Penetanguishene Funeral Home on Monday June 25th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste. Croix Church on Tuesday June 26th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow, Ste. Croix Cemetery. If desired, donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
