Richard George Hogan
1945-2018
Peacefully, surrounded by family, after a long battle with
cancer, Richard George Hogan passed away at the Western Hospital,
Alberton, on Monday, June 18, 2018. Beloved husband of Florence (nee
Peters) Hogan, aged 73 years.
Dear father of Ricky (Natalie), Natalie (Dale), Wanda
(Freddie) and Marsha (Johnny). Grandfather of Erica (John),
Mitchell (Megan), Brodie, Michael, Maggie, Marcie, Matt and Bryce.
Great-grandfather of Bailey, Chase and Blase. Survived by brothers and
sisters Wilbert (Irene), Freda (Adrian deceased) Kinch, Sylvia (Bob
deceased) MacDonald, Susan (Ronnie deceased) Boyce, Chris, Roy
(Edith), Victor (Dianne) and Brian (Bev). Predeceased by his
parents, Walter and Mary (Gavin) Hogan, brothers Clifford, Michael and
Kenneth, and sisters Paula and Wilma. Also predeceased by his father
and mother-in-law, Frank and Mildred Peters.
Resting at Rooney Funeral Home & Chapel until
Thursday at 3:30 p.m., then to St. Simon & St. Jude Church,
Tignish, for Funeral Mass at 4:00 pm. Visitation at Rooney Funeral
Home & Chapel on Wednesday 6:00 to 9:00
pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Western
Hospital would be gratefully appreciated.
