Our creator has called home a loved one after a courageous battle with cancer.
He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday January 13, 2018.
Dear son of the late Charles and Frances Balson.
Amazing husband of Judy (nee-Pelton) for 48 years.
Loving father of Kimberley Andre (Brian) and Heather Riosa (Franco) and proud grandfather and mentor of Samantha, Eva, Connor, Jovanni, Nicole and Antonio.
Always lovingly remembered by his sister Gail Cole as her big brother and a light in her heart and also by his extended family and many friends.
Following cremation a memorial visitation will be held at Knox United Church 25 Gibbard Ave. Nepean on Thursday January 18 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
A memorial service will be held in the church on Friday January 19 at 1 PM.
As expressions of sympathy donations to the Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
