Ghaney, Rhonda (nee Ryan): (June 25, 1965 – June 26, 2018), Passed peacefully away after a lengthy battle with cancer in the presence of her loving family at the long term center in Carbonear on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, Rhonda Ghaney of Avondale in her 53rd year. Predeceased by her father Leo, infant brothers: Gary & William, sister Joan & father in-law Samuel. Left with fond and loving memories are her loving husband Benny, son Josh (Becki), daughter Jessica, granddaughter Maya, mother Bridget, siblings: Terry (Laurie), Christine Flynn (Rick), Lenus, Thelma (Kenneth), Kim Rose (Wayne), Leo (Gloria), Tina Cahill (Danny), Monica (Tony), Pete (Brenda) & Tracey Bishop (Tony), mother in-law Ann, brother in-laws: Gary (Denise) & David, sister in-law Darlene Ghaney (Grant), many nieces, nephews, & a large circle of other relatives & friends. Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Wednesday & Thursday from 2 – 4 pm & 7 – 9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place at 10:30 am on Friday, June 29, 2018 from Assumption Church, Avondale. Cremation to follow with Inurnment in Assumption Cemetery, Avondale.
