Rheta Mae Lambert
8 December , 1926 – 7 October , 2018
Lambert, Rheta Mae (nee Nelson) – Passed away peacefully on October 7, 2018 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Harry Lambert for 58 years. Loving mother of Kathryn Watkins (Ron), Elizabeth Gibb (John). Dear grandmother of Charles Watkins (Erica), Mark Shaughnessy (Wendy), Amy Watkins and Scott Shaughnessy. Great grandmother of Olivia Watkins, Madison Shaughnessy and Ian Watkins. Survived by her dear sister Agnes Walton in Peterborough. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Vera Nelson and brother Robert (Bob) Nelson. A special thank you for the compassionate care given by staff at Bridlewood Trails and Glebe Centre in Ottawa, where Rheta lived the past several years. Rheta worked for many years at ARC Industries, and after retiring volunteered at Meals on Wheels and TeleCare in Peterborough. A funeral service will be held on Sunday October 14, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the
COMSTOCK-KAYE LIFE CELEBRATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough A Visitation in her honour will take place prior to the service from 11:45 am until 12:45 pm. In lieu of flowers, and in memory of Rheta, donations to Habitat for Humanity – Peterborough & Kawartha Region or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by her family.
