Reynolds Vincent Bowe
June 20, 1928 ~ November 20, 2018 (age 90)
Peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Tuesday November 20th, 2018 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of wife Lee (nee Plewes). Proud father of Jennifer and Christina. Adored grandfather of Lila Mae Bowe. Predeceased by parents Vincent and Reta Bowe, stepfather Zaven Ardemian, and brothers Ernie and Weldon. Lovingly remembered by his sister Shirley (Gerry). Rene worked for 36 years for Raybestos/Echlin in Peterborough. He was an avid skier, sailor and handyman. He had fond memories of his time with the Friday Night Club, Bethany Ski Club/Kawartha Peaks, and the Peterborough Astronomical Association. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends, who remember his kindness, fun nature, and ingenuity. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Rene’s remains will be returned to Nova Scotia, where he was born. Donations in memory of Rene can be made to the charity of your choice.
