Reta Winifred Paul

The passing of Reta « Mama » Winifred Paul of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Roger Paul occurred on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on September 7, 1929 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Isaac and Annie Paul. At 89 years old she was the oldest community member. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Church. Reta loved watching the Blue Jays, The Young and The Restless and The Bold and Beautiful. She loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Claudine Paul.
Reta is survived by her children, Pam Paul (Judy), Brian Paul (Marie), Darrel Paul and Jamie Paul (Gizelle); twelve grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Reta was predeceased by one grandchild; daughters, Jocelyn and Maxine Paul; several brothers and sisters and daughter in law, Tina Paul.

Visitation will take place at her home, 77 Maliseet Drive, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 12 noon until Thursday. The Funeral Service will take place at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 11am with Father Martin Arputham as celebrant. Interment will take place in St. Anthony’s Cemetery. The family wish to express a special thanks to her care provider, Corrine Peterson and the staff of 4NW for the care and compassion given to Reta.
