Raised in Cumberland County, NS, he was the youngest son of Helen Archen (Fraser) and Vincent Alexander McCabe. Over his 82 years he touched many lives whether you were family, friend or colleague. He is survived by his daughter Gina (Richard) Sackville; his two grandchildren, Dylan (Moncton) and Hayley (Sackville); his life partner Beverley, Debert; step-children, Myles Ferguson and Julie Ferguson. He was predeceased by brothers Fraser (Marjorie) and Bruce (Audrey); son Deryk; granddaughter Racheal and stepson Matt Ferguson. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 17 at 2pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, Pastor Bill Martin officiating. Reception will follow.
