Rebel Hardy (nee Daniels)
Sadly the incredible and irrepressible Rebel Hardy (nee Daniels) died August 26.
Rebel leaves behind Jim Hardy her son John Dodd (Shelley) and daughter Lara King (Michael Auchincloss), step-daughters Shawna (Dalton) and Sandra Hardy and grandchildren Austin, Samson, Adele, Maya and Sebastian. She was the youngest daughter of Leslie and Thais Daniels and dear sister to Mary (George), Mike (Jan, Patti, Charlene), Blanche (Paul), Pat (Brian) and Toni. YFA will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. We hope our scrappy, progressive, thoughtful mother will be remembered by her many friends from the Beaches, from her days at Humber, and her retirement years in Southampton. Today we are heart broken, but through the love of our family and friends, as mom often quoted, “This too shall pass”.
There will be a celebration of her life held Thursday August 30 at the GlenErin Inn in Mississauga at 1:00-3:30. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the charity of your choosing.
