Raymond Lindburg Hindy
May 23, 1926 – September 16, 2018
Raymond Lindburg Hindy, Aged 91 of Winterton passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital surrounded by family and friends. Predeceased by his father and mother John Hindy and Ethel (Soper) Hindy, daughter Beverly Jean Reid, and granddaughter April Patricia Reid. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, wife Monica; three sons Lloyd (Wanda), Charlie (Iris), and Paul (Wendy); grandchildren Judy, Carolyn, Ruth, Andrew, Heather and Brandon; brother Earl (Rosalind) and sister Jean; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and extended family members and friends. Special thanks to family friends Dr. Fung Leung and family, as well as Reverend Gloria.
Resting at Green’s Funeral Home in Winterton. Visiting hours Monday, September 17th from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 7:00 – 9:00 PM.
Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, September 18th at 2:00 PM from St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Winterton. Interment to follow at St. Luke’s Anglican Cemetery, Winterton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Luke’s Anglican Church or a charity of ones choice.
