MOREAU, Raymond Joseph
Raymond Moreau of Pickardville died Sunday, December 23rd, 2018 while in Palliative Care in Edmonton. Raymond was born December 18th, 1941 to Joseph and Germaine Moreau west of Meanook, Alberta. He was raised on a family farm and moved to Pickardville around 1963, where he met his wife. He ran the Pickardville Hardware Store for a total of 40 years (first with his dad, then with his wife) closing the store in 2003. After retiring he kept busy building wooden wagons and wishing wells and cutting grass around the area. Raymond is survived by his step children, Joyce Innes, Donna (Freeman) Littke, Darlene (Kasper) Zandbergen, Clarence Innes, Elizabeth (Wade) Longacre, Jerry (Kathy) Innes; sisters, Louise (Bill), Julian & Evelyn & brother, Wilfred in Australia. Raymond will be fondly remembered by 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, niece Jackie (Sandro) and nephew Jim. He was predeceased by his wife of 38 years, step daughter, Margaret, brother Maurice, sister Yvonne as a baby. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday January 5th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Westlock Funeral Home.
