Rawn, Nancy
Nancy Marie Rawn (nee Bryon) of McVean Lodge, Hanover and formerly of Varney, passed away at the Hanover and District Hospital, on Tuesday, November 27th, 2018 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Mervyn Rawn. Loving mother of Pat Rahn, Wayne Rawn and his wife Ruth Anne, David Rawn and his wife Karen, and Cathy Turner and her husband Steve. Cherished grandmother of Brett Rahn, Jeff and Teena Rahn, Jodie Rawn, Lindsay and Jon Foulon, Chad and Sha Rawn, and Patrick and Crystal Rawn. Fondly remembered by 11 great-grandchildren: Andi, Owen, Codee, and Max Rahn, Hayden and Harlow Foulon, Brandon, Jordan, and Taylor Rawn, and Jesse and Colton Rawn. Dear sister of Barb Campbell. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews, her friends at McVean Lodge and neighbours of the Varney Community. Predeceased by her parents William and Lillian Bryon, her son Paul Rawn, her daughter Joan Rawn, her son-in-law Dale Rahn, her sisters Betty Lawrence, Mary Glenny and Marg Lawson.
Celebration of Life::
A funeral service celebrating Nancy’s life will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Sunday, December 2nd, at 2 p.m., with visitation prior to the service from 12 – 1:45 p.m. Cremation to follow.
