STADDER: Rae Ivan
It is with extreme sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear Rae Ivan Stadder in his loving wife’s arms on December 2nd 2018 at the age of 70 years young. Rae was met with God’s loving arms and his peaceful grace. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 32 years Concetta (nee Arcari). He was the son of the late Blake and Donna Stadder, and brother to the late Dale Stadder (Ida). He will be missed by his sister in law Rosina (Francesco Passaro). Nieces Cristina Petrovic (David), Luisa Peptone (Clinton), Jamie Robertson (Mike), Janessa Nichols (Matt), Adam Stadder (Becky) and their families. He will be remembered also by cousins Earl Stadder (Jannette), Holly Hall (late Bob Hall), Sandra McCamus (Don), Ed Smith (Marjorie), John Smith, Bill Smith (Kelly). He will also be remembered by Jill Cooper, close friend Elaine Young and her family, and the many many friends and neighbours within their town and their farming community. Rae had a deep faith in life, and deep love for his wife Concetta who together grew a life of generosity within their community and a love and passion for farming and breeding excellence in a well known herd of cattle over their 32 years of marriage. Rae tried to be a good steward of the land and took great pride in all of Gods blessings. Rae enjoyed the highest quality of life vacationing and seeing the world. He had the most infectious laugh enjoying a good martini and cigar and watching the sunsets at the end of a hard days work. He was a social butterfly, the life of the party, and enjoyed Concetta’s good home cooking. Visitation and celebration of his life will be on Tuesday December 4th, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Faith Centennial United Church, 28 Main St. West, Selkirk, Ontario. Funeral will held on Wednesday December 5th, 2018 at 11am at Faith Centennial United Church. Internment to follow at Selkirk Union Cemetery. Rae will also be missed by the many workers who worked on the farm and the 4-H’ers.
