Thérèse Doreen Proulx (née Ranger) passed away peacefully at her Summerstown home on Sunday, June 17th, 2018. In her 79th year, Thérèse was the cherished wife of sixty years to Robert William Proulx. She was a nurturing mother to Suzanne DeRochie (Stephen), Marc Proulx (Elizabeth), Liette Deschambault (Marc), Luc Proulx (Donna), Daniel Proulx (Kristy) and foster daughter Shirley Lalonde (Paul). Gramma to twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She leaves behind a sister Madeleine Ranger and is predeceased by her parents Emile and Agnes Ranger (née MacDonald). As per her wishes, Thérèse will be cremated with a private family interment at Notre Dame Cemetery in July.
As offerings of sympathy & in her memory, a donation to Cornwall Hospice would be appreciated. The family wishes to thank Thérèse’s palliative team who made her comfortable during her illness: Dr. Diane Poilly, St Elizabeth nursing team: Monique, Manon, Suzanne & Allison and Bayshore’s PSW JoAn as well as EMS staff: Richard & Francine.
