John Price age 73 passed away on
Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at home in Calgary, Alberta.
A Memorial Service will be held
for John at the Bowness Scout and Lions Hall (8551 Bowness Road NW, Calgary,
AB) on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 11:00 am.
John was born in Woodstock, New
Brunswick to Donville and Flora Price on October 7, 1945. He married Lorna
Dolen on August 2, 1969 in Cochrane, AB. He worked in construction in Calgary
and area all of his life. He was preceded in death by both parents, his sister
Donna Marie and his brother-in-law Cedwin Williams.
John is survived by his wife Lorna,
his children Melinda Price (Lory), Amanda Proulx, and Donville (Tammy) Price,
brother Floyd and sister-in-law Dorothy Price, sister Margaret Williams, sister
Joan and brother-in-law Alex Duma, sister Barbara and brother-in-law John
Speer, grandchildren – Tempest (Pierre) Drouin, Emily Mallon, Haydan Mallon,
Brennen (Kandice) Proulx, Cheyanne Proulx (Eddie), Kiara Price (Brad), Joel
Price, and Kailey Price, great grandchildren Brooklyn and Parker, Demi and
Landon, and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
Memorial donations may be given to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Foothills Hospital.
