Obituary of Porter Kenneth
PORTER, Kenneth February 4, 1943 -January 12, 2018 passed away peacefully at his residence while surrounded by his family at the age of 74 years. Born in Welland Ken has lived in this area all of his life. He retired from Walters Fabrication where he worked as a First Class fitter/welder. Survived by his beloved wife of 52 years Nancy (nee Beck), children Kenny Jr Porter, Katharine Brogan (Vince), grandchildren Elizabeth, Avery and Darren. Brothers Harry Porter (Betsy) and George Porter, also survived by several nieces and nephews and his four legged friend Jingles. Predeceased by his parents Wesley and Violet Porter and his brothers Jim and Dave. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME 135 Clarence St. Port Colborne. The family wish to thank Dr. Blair Leonard and his nurses Jillian and Julie as well as all the nurses at the Walker Cancer Centre the CCAC team and the numerous Canadian Cancer Society drivers, Pastor Trevor Main and everyone who supported Ken and his family during his illness.
