Obituary of Phyllis Walker
Peacefully surrounded by the love of her family, at Summit Place Nursing Home in Owen Sound, on Tuesday evening, February 13th, 2018. Phyllis Lorraine Walker (nee Barfoot), of Owen Sound, at the age of 90 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Wallace Walker (2000). Loving mother of Bonnie Cooper, of East Linton. Proud grandmother of Tracy Adamson and her partner, Mark Porter, of Owen Sound and Terry Cooper, of Allenford and great-grandmother of Terrah and Presley Cooper. Phyllis will be remembered by her sister-in-law, Joyce Barfoot, of Owen Sound. Predeceased by her parents, John and Rebecca Barfoot; her son-in-law, Ian Cooper; her siblings, Alvin, Jerry, Wesley, Edwin, Frederick, Milton Barfoot, Leota McPherson and Marie Pointon.
A Funeral Service for Phyllis Walker will be held in the Chapel of the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Saturday, February 17th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Paula Classey officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. before the service. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Arthritis Society of Grey-Bruce or the charity of your choice as an expression of sympathy.
