Philip Wayne Hanson

Philip Wayne Hanson age 74 of Digby, passed away April 27, 2018 in Tideview Terrace. Born January 9, 1944, he was a son of the late Philip and Bernice Hanson. He was a longtime member of Digby East Fish and Game and Past President of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 20, Digby and chairman of Ducks Unlimited, Digby. He worked as a carpenter for many years. Survived by daughters Shelly (Karl), Patti (Trevor), Heather (Jason); son Stephen (Cheryl); brother Rick (Lynda); grandchildren Alex, Josh, Jenna and Tyler; great grandchildren Charlie and Sawyer, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by wife Carol, brother Gary and sister Sandra. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 Tuesday, May 1, with the service Wednesday, May 2 at 11 am both from Jayne’s Funeral Home Digby.
