Obituary for
Peter Krasilchuk
On September 4, 2018, Peter Krasilchuk of Beaumont, formerly of Vegreville and Bruce, passed away at the age of 87 years. Peter was a long time member of the Knights of Columbus – Vegreville, Holden, Lamont and Edmonton. He served on the Knights of Columbus Executive Board for many years. Peter was also a member of the Bruce Stampede Board.
Peter is survived by his loving wife, Joyce; brother-in-law, Mario; sister-in-law, Josephine; nieces, Monica and Joannie; cousins, John and Mike Panas; nephew, Don-Michael; great-nephews, James and Alex; close friends, the Papirnick family; as well as many more dear relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Simon and Nadia Krasilchuk.
Peter was an avid woodworker in the areas of marquetry and cabinet making and participant in the Beaumont volunteer firefighter service for 15 years. He spent over 30 years farming south of Bruce, AB.
Prayer Service Monday, September 10 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Basil’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 7007 – 109 Street, Edmonton.
Divine Liturgy Tuesday, September 11 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Basil’s Ukrainian Catholic Church. Basilian Fathers officiating with interment in Kopernick Cemetery.
