Obituary of Peter Brandon
Peacefully at the Grey Bruce Health Services, on Friday evening, March 2nd, 2018. Peter Wallace Brandon, of Owen Sound, at the age of 95 years. Dearly loved wife of Anne Brandon (nee Cowan) for 73 years. Loving father of Bill Brandon and his wife, Nancy, of Annan and Stuart Brandon and his wife, Susan, of North Bay. Proud grandfather of Trudy (J.F.), Kerrie-Ann (John), Cameron (Alex), Janet (Dan), Billy (Kara), Crystal (Mark), Jason (Carol), Brenda, Rob (Cindy), great-grandfather of 17 and great-great-grandfather of 3. Peter will be sadly missed by his sister-in-law, Maggie Brandon, of England and his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Cecil and Kate Brandon and his brothers, Alan Brandon (Vera) and Thomas Brandon. Peter was a respected worker at the R.B.W. for 35 years. He was Past President of the Lion’s Cluf and Past Master for the Masonic Lodge. A Memorial Service for Peter Brandon will be held in the Chapel of the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Saturday, March 17th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor John Stanley officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce as an expression of sympathy.
