Obituary for Percy Leeson
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, at the Erie Shores Healthcare on October 31, 2018 at 91 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Adele (2011) with whom he celebrated 47 years of marriage. Dear father of Lorraine (Evert) Geelen and Charlene (Frank) VanderGriendt. Step-father of Joe (Sandy) Rizzetto and the late Delores Rizzetto. Treasured grandfather of 9 grandchildren and a growing number of great-grandchildren. Loving brother of Wayne (Elaine) Leeson and the late Don (Joanne) Leeson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Percy was a longtime member of St. John’s Church in Leamington and a former member of the Canadian Club in Leamington. He was well respected in the business world and enjoyed a lengthy career in Canada and the USA with Eaton Axle Corporation. Percy is resting at the Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd. (519-776-7378) 128 Talbot St. North, Es. The family welcomes friends and family on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 2-5 p.m. The funeral service will take place from the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
