Obituary of Penny Van Lanen
It is with great sadness that the family announces her passing at the Welland Hospital on December 4, 2018 after fearless battle with cancer. Penny is survived by her loving husband John and were married 44 years. Loving mother of Mike, Wendy Boyes (George) and Jody Fowler (Jason). Beloved daughter of Joan Sanders (late Douglas). Caring nana of Ethan, Lauren, Riley, Emma, Hannah, Damian and Jakob. Dear brother of Fred (Theresa), Jerry (Susan), Wayne (Sharon), Sandra Smith (David), Jim, Linda Switzer (late Roy) and Richard (Teresa). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements entrusted to the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence St. in Port Colborne. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Christian Life Assembly, 484 Barrick Road Port Colborne.
If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the N.H.S for the Walker Family Cancer Centre.
