It is with profound sadness that we, the family of Penny Marlene Hotel, beloved wife of Bill Hotel, announce her passing in Medicine Hat on Friday August 17, 2018, at the age of 61 years. She was born in Nelson, B.C. to Bud and Faye Cunningham and was married to Bill T. Hotel for just shy of 43 years. Penny will be lovingly remembered in the hearts of her husband, Bill; children, Ashley (Corey), Clayton and his daughter, Makayla, Chad (Justina) and their children, Colby and Tetlee; sisters, Deb (Larry), Gail (Roy) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and one brother. A Celebration of Penny’s life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat, on Friday, August 24, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. with Life Celebrant Gerry Getz officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Penny’s name may be made directly to the Canadian Mental Health Association, 204 – 1865 Dunmore Road S.E., Medicine Hat, Alberta T1A 1Z8.
