Pearl Marie Nowack, age 92, formerly of Ellice Township, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Knollcrest Lodge (Milverton). Born in Ellice Township, daughter of the late William and Rebecca (Chisner) Fisher. Survived by her son Barry Nowack, her grandson Barry Ford and Barry’s mother Linda Nowack, as well as many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Pearl’s dear friends Brenda Siemon and Deb Tanner. Pearl will be remembered for her love of baking and preserves, which she showed at numerous fairs in the area. She was a long-time member of Zion United Church in Rostock, a member of Gads Hill Women’s Institute and the Gads Hill Euchre Club. Besides her parents, Pearl was predeceased by her sister Mabel Fisher and brother’s Ford Fisher, Roy Fisher (in infancy) and Orval (Beatrice) Fisher. Family and friends may call at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Wednesday July 18, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, July 19 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow in Avondale Cemetery.
