Obituary of Pauline Pepper
A resident of Chatham, Pauline peacefully passed away at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, reunited with her late husband Arthur after exactly 18 years.
Born in Chatham, Pauline was the daughter of the late Louis & Nina Rabideau.
Beloved wife of the late Arthur (Art) Pepper (2000).
Dear mother of Murray Pepper of Chatham and his late wife Barb, Cherie McCabe and her husband Alan of Thunder Bay, Ron Pepper and his wife Roslyn of London and Don Pepper and his wife Judy of Chatham. Also remembered by Harry Hoogstraten and wife Geertje of the Netherlands.
Grandmother of Amanda McCabe and Kelly Pilot (Jamie), Cory Pepper, Chris Pepper and Jennifer Moore (Scott), Dawnmarie Field (Jason).
Great-grandmother of 10 & 6 great-great grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her great-grandson, Dewayne Shreve.
Sister of Theresa Cheeseman of London & sister-in-law of Doris Rabideau & Mary Pepper.
Predeceased by her siblings, Bill, Lavina, Harvey, Jim, Milton (Hop), Ida & Frank.
Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Pauline was a former member of the Women of the Moose where she enjoyed playing cards. She was also an avid fan of camping and dancing in her younger days.
The family wish to thank the caring staff and volunteers of the Chatham-Kent Hospice for their love & support in Pauline’s final days. And a special thank you to Joyce Woudenburg.
The Pepper Family will receive friends at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday, January 14, 2018 from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Monday at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
