Pauline Vivian Maddox
December 18, 1926 – December 09, 2018

Maddox, Pauline Vivian age 91 years of Dartmouth passed away, December 9, 2018 at Twin Oaks Hospital. Born in Berwick she was a daughter of the late Leslie & Mary Ellen (Arenburg) Butler. She resided in Mosher River for many years, where she loved her flowers and gardening before moving to Dartmouth. She is survived by her daughter Shirley Cox (Norm Dodgson), daughter in law Karen Murphy, grandsons Wayne Cox, Danny Maddox and John O’Leary, 3 great grandsons and 3 great granddaughters, one brother Robert Butler, Ontario, as well as nephews and nieces. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Daniel Maddox, a son Daniel Russell Maddox, grandson Sean, brothers Ernest, Harry, Clifford, Charles, Rufus, Russell, Harris, sisters, Hilda, Alice, Helen and Mary. The family would like to thank all those who helped Pauline on her journey, the V.O.N., Home Care, the Palliative Care Nurses and doctors. We appreciate all the special care shown. Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday December 14, 2018 in Dartmouth Funeral Home, 29 Queen Street. Dartmouth. Burial will be at a later date in Riverside Cemetery, Mosher River. No flowers by request. In lieu donations may be made to a charity of choice.
