Sherren, Pauline Julia: April 3, 1937 – April 17, 2018
With broken hearts we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Holding her hand as she fell into God’s hands were her son Paul, daughter-in-law Mykila, her daughter Mary Alicia (via satellite from Ottawa) and her niece Barbie-Lynn Noseworthy.
We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from Pauline during her 81 years, among us. She was an active volunteer in her community and community organisations and influence in each. The sun shone brightly, and the sky was clear, for her path to a place at the dining table to play 120’s, Carters Hill Style. Waiting for her was her beloved husband and soul mate, Charles, her parents Jack and Lizzie Burton and her four sisters, Nancy, Mary, Barb and Kate.
Pauline leaves to mourn are her son Paul (Mykila), daughter Mary Alicia (Bernard French), grandson Samuel, niece Barbie Lynn Noseworthy (Robert), nephew John Burton (Raquel Mavarez) and nieces and nephews from near and far. Also left to mourn, her dear friend Rita Evans, to whom we give special thanks for her understanding, caring and helping Pauline in her times of need.
Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home LeMarchant Road on Thursday, April 19 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. and on Friday, April 20 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place from Mary Queen of the World Church on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 10 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
The game is set
The chairs are filled
The family gathers
Upon the hill.
The laughter reins
All thru the night
The girls cannot win
Jacks got em dead to right.
Jack and Lizzy smile
Their girls are home
The house is full
The time has come.
To say so long
But not good bye
For every day
I am by your side.
