Obituary of Paul Kelley
Kelley Paul B. 88 West Brooklyn Mountain passed away peacefully in Kentville, February 7 2018. Born in West Brooklyn Mountain, he was the son of the late Ralph and Ora (nee Wood) Kelley.
Paul enjoyed hunting, and working in his vegetable garden. Paul’s pride and joy, was his dog « Panda ». He also worked at Sterling Fruit Farm in Wolfville, with more than 40 years’ service.
Paul is survived by his daughters; Lova (Neil) Gaul, Corabelle (David) Guptill; Catherine (Garnet) Gould; Pauline (Raymond) Pinch, all of West Brooklyn; Karen (Keith) Keddy, Port Williams; Loretta (Edward) Dominey, Centreville; Laura (Tim) Brown, West Brooklyn. Brothers Frank of West Brooklyn, Sam, of Gaspereau River Rd. Sisters: Rita (Barry) Salter, New Minas; Sadie (Paul) Schofield, Wolfville; Orabelle (Terry) Kennedy, Coldbrook; Nancy Tompkins, Hantsport; Marg Pellow, New Minas. 14 grandchildren, 16 Great grandchildren, 1 great great-grandson Zayden.
Paul was predeceased by his wife Joan (nee Pinch); son Ross; sisters Gladys Coleman, Alice Shanks, Pat Kelley; 1 great grandchild, Benjamin Coburn.
Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Friday February 9 with funeral service at 10:30am February 10th both at Serenity Funeral Home, Wolfville Rev. Gary Manthorne officiating. Interment will follow in the West Brooklyn Cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations in Paul’s memory may be made to the Wolfville Animal Hospital. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Wolfville Funeral Chapel, 568 Main Street Wolfville (902-542-4656).
