Leonard is survived by his loving family, his children, Linda Mahoney (Bill), Paul Ratt (Cassandra), Miranda Ratt (Adam), Darren Ratt (Laura), Zack Venne; the mother of Linda, Paul, Miranda, Darren and Zack, Bella Venne; his children, Ricky Ross, Abel Ross (Roxanne), Ellen Ross (Tony); the mother of Ricky, Abel and Ellen, Jean Ross; his grandchildren, Seth, Shannon, Cyril, Tyree, Ashton, Shane, Leo, Tynna, Vanessa, William, Darren, Mike, Taylor, Cooper, Austin, Kyra, Joel, Jeptha, Dalton, Tisondra, Janessa, Zaidee, Tony, Jean; his special granddaughter, Azura Charles; his brothers and sisters, Colin Venne (Hilda), Alice Ratt (Jacob), Riley Venne (Mary), Alfred Venne (Beatrice Ratt), Sandy Venne (Susan), Gerald Venne, Linda Ratt, Darlene Venne, Angelique Venne (George Charles), Vicky Viney; his aunts and uncles, Jean Charles, Frances Charles (Ray), Elizabeth Charles (Gerry), Miles Charles (Anne), Noah Bird, Amelia Sanderson; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by, his son, Randy Ross; his grandsons, Zander Venne and Kyle Ratt-Tremblay; his parents, Thompson & Nora (nee Charles) Venne; his son-in-law, Billy Taylor; his brother, Herbert Venne; his niece, Alice Katherine Charles; his uncles, Myles Venne and George Venne (Flora); his aunts, Angelique Halkett, Theresa Venne, Eileen Venne, Lydia Roberts. Leonard’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at All Saints Anglican Church, in La Ronge, SK, Tom Sanderson, Edna Mirasty, John & Alvina Halkett officiating. Interment to follow at Anglican Church Cemetery, in La Ronge, SK. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Lac La Ronge Funeral Home, Debra Klassen, Funeral Director, and River Park Funeral Home, Don Moriarty, Funeral Director.
