Obituary for Patrick Meaney
Passed away peacefully at the Notre Dame Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate on Saturday, April 14th, 2018, Patrick Meaney, age 92.
Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Monica Meaney, Wife Helen, son Robert, brothers Lawrence (Alice) Meaney, James Hackett, sisters Theresa (Alvis) Nazworth, Margaret (Jervis) Flynn, brothers-in-law Robert (Bobby) Flynn and Aloysius Drake.
Left to mourn with loving memories are his sons Fred (Rose) of Cape Broyle, Phil (Anne) of Kingston, NS; Allan (Jackie) of Wabush, Reg (Lisa) of Stephenville, daughter Elizabeth (Tony) Coates of Gander, brother Lewis (Marie) Meaney, sisters Bernice (Howard) Flynn, Helen Drake, Viola Flynn, daughter-in-law Glenys (Robert) of St. John’s, grandchildren Mike, Pam, Brent (Christa), Trina (Corey) Pollard, Amanda (Jason), Chris (Sheena), Tyler (Crystal), Heather (Tristan), Allan Jr., Sean, Stephanie (Andrew) Mercer, great-grandchildren Matthew, Sierra, Ryan, Alyssa, Seth, Ava, Joshua, Emily, Logan, Olivia, Lincoln, Hannah and a large circle of relatives and friends.
Resting at Stacey’s Funeral Home, Gander on Tuesday, April 17th from 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, April 18th at 2:00 P.M. from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church. Cremation will follow. Interment to be announced.
