Bud Cook, age 80, of Stratford passed away at the Stratford General Hospital on Saturday, December 1, 2018 with his 2 oldest granddaughters Amber Dawn and Sarah Michelle at his side. Born in Listowel, son of the late Lockhart Cook and the former Mabel Wilson. Beloved husband of the late Sharon Rosemary Cook (nee Fulford). He is survived by his children Teresa Gavin (Paul), Shannon, Terry (Grace), Ron (Patti), Mike (Faye) and Erin (Dan). Bud was the youngest of 12 children and is survived by his brother Jim Cook of Goderich and 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Ted, Joe, Del, Orby, John and Jerry and by sisters Hazel, Ruby, Bessy and Grace. A celebration of Bud’s life will be held at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 12 – 2 p.m. with Words of Remembrance at 1 p.m. Interment in Avondale Cemetery.
