It is with sadness that the family of Patricia (Pat) Lemaich of St. Catharines (formerly of Mount Forest) announces that Pat passed away March 7th in her 91st year. Pat was predeceased by John “Duke” Lemaich (2015), her beloved husband of 67 years. She is survived by her son Richard Lemaich & his wife Katherine of Kitchener and her daughter Rebecca Lemaich of St. Davids. Pat was “Baba” to her grandchildren, Marissa Tanzola & her husband Christopher of Toronto, Erin Bosak of Courtice, and Greg Lemaich & his wife Julie of Toronto and her great-grandchildren Conor, Cate & Rowan Tanzola, Audrey & Calder Bosak, Alec & Cormac Lemaich. She is also survived by nephews, nieces and their families. Pat was predeceased by her sister Mary Yurichuk & her husband Alex, brother-in-law George Lemaich & his wife Patricia, and by her sisters-in-law Mary Kovacevich & her husband Alex and Elizabeth Stepanovich & her husband Michael. Mom was kept comfortable during her final days by the caring and compassionate staff and doctors at Niagara Health System, St. Catharines. A celebration of Pat’s life will be held at the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest on Saturday, March 10th at 1 p.m., with visitation being held prior to the service from 11 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice.
