Pat Erickson
ERICKSON (nee Sandgren) Patricia Garnet Jane
Passed away peacefully in Edmonton, on March 21, 2018. Pat was born on June 20, 1938 in Tisdale, Saskatchewan, the youngest child of Joseph and Lucy Sandgren. Pat leaves behind her loving and devoted husband of 60 years, Earle, and her three children, Thelma (Allan) Price, Ken (Sunita) Erickson, and Dana (Darrell) Newby. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, Erica (Tim) Hemelryk, Alex Erickson, Tate Erickson, Chris (Alicia) Newby, Chad (Samantha) Newby, one great-grandchild, Natalie Hemelryk, and a second great-grandchild on the way. Pat will be greatly missed by family and friends from all over the world.
A celebration of Pat’s life will be held at Westlawn Funeral Home, 16310 Stony Plain Road, Edmonton, Alberta, on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations to either the Arthritis Society, www.arthritis.ca or the Anne Mainland MacRae Award Fund through the Edmonton Community Foundation, 9910 – 103 Street NW, Edmonton AB T5K 2V7 or, if more convenient, then donations may be left at the service.
